Of all the treasures we can leave to our children, surely a piece of the most beautiful state in the union is the most sacred. Our state’s first patriots came to Texas and gave their lives for the right to own a plot of land. Sadly, our government has decided that the interests of foreign corporations and increased tax revenue are of a higher priority than the rights of private land ownership.

As state representative, I promise to do everything I can to curtail the use of eminent domain, and where it is used, advocate for 150% reimbursement to the land owner.
