Anyone that follows politics knows that individual rights are used as points of division in the two party system. This is deplorable. As residents of the Lone Star State, we should be united in our shared individuality. After all, our rugged diversity is what makes us great.

As state representative, I will be a staunch advocate for ensuring the rights of individuals. Liberals, Conservatives, Christians, Atheists, Young, Old, Men, Women, Rich, and Poor. We all deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness by the state. Although we may not all agree on certain issues, we can agree that Austin should be working for Texans above all else. We are not a state filled with divisive groups; we are a state of individuals. A state of Texans.
